Good Afternoon Viewers,
WASW is currently under a full entity remodel. This includes our studio, servers, social media, and website. This morning at 12:00 am our digital team pulled all of our content from circulation to upload it all to a new cloud based system that will allow us to bring you news faster while retaining our always accurate and fair approach. Last month we downsized to a smaller newsroom space as our new cloud based system does not take up near the room that our former servers did. With this move also comes some new assets including an on air live desk, a virtual news set, and investigations unit, and a state of the art digital news center. In August WASW will officially become an affiliate of up and coming national news outlet News Connect Now. This will allow us to bring you the latest news not only from here in the Sandhills but also all over the world. As of now we hope to have everything up and running sometime in August.
