Wisconsin US – Over the weekend, a deceased missing person was discovered at the Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.
At approximately 1:24 p.m. on Saturday, September 9th, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to assist Portage County deputies in finding a reported missing man at Aspirus Riverview Hospital.
After reviewing the hospital’s surveillance footage, officials discovered that someone who fits the description of the individual who went missing was seen entering the hospital and heading towards a bathroom close to the emergency department.
Upon unlocking the door, the Portage County Sheriff’s Office deputies discovered the man deceased inside. It appeared that he had taken his own life through a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
No signs of any wrongdoing have been detected.
