Arrest made after drugs throwing drugs from car during chase

a man from DeFuniak Springs has been arrested by the authorities after he allegedly threw a bag of meth out of his car window during a chase.

A vehicle was pulled over by a deputy from Washington County Sheriff’s Office on September 14th for an infraction while it was traveling on State Road 74.

According to reports, Bobby Lee Dukes, who has since been identified as a 48-year-old driver, drove through Chipley and allegedly threw a bag out of the car’s window as he continued on his journey.

According to authorities, Dukes was apprehended after the vehicle came to a halt at the intersection of State Road 77 and South Boulevard.

According to reports, upon discovering the abandoned bag, deputies discovered a quantity of methamphetamine and cocaine within it.

According to reports, Dukes has been accused of several charges, including trying to escape and eluding law enforcement, possessing meth and cocaine, resisting arrest without violence, driving with a revoked or suspended license, and tampering with evidence. Following his arrest, he was taken to Washington County Jail to be booked.
