No injuries after car runs stop sign, crashes in Jackson County

According to the Florida Highway Patrol troopers, a car drove through a stop sign and crossed over a median before crashing into a wooded area in Jackson County early Saturday morning. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.

According to the authorities, at approximately 1:10 a.m., a car was heading towards the west on County Road 276, which is also known as Kynesville Road. As the vehicle approached the intersection of U.S Highway 231, where a stop sign is located, it continued to drive.

According to the investigators, the car failed to come to a halt at the stop sign located at the intersection. Instead, it continued to move straight ahead, crossing both northbound lanes before crossing over the median. After that, it crossed both southbound lanes of U.S Highway 231.

According to the investigation, the car ultimately collided with several small trees situated on the side of the highway. Fortunately, neither the driver nor the two passengers sustained any injuries.
